Highlights from Recent Programs:
Recently, CIP received a grant from the U.S. Embassy in Moscow to support a unique project of mutual interest centered on Russian-American peer-to-peer collaboration. Through this new and exciting program, students from Columbus, Surgut and Moscow are working together to create a business project. The projects must be non-political in nature and focus on themes of mutual interest that support greater understanding of shared values, institutional and professional development and the awareness of the merits of inclusive societies. Since October 2016, the students have had regular collaborative meetings via Skype, and have met with various business professionals in both Columbus and Russia who shared their expertise. In January, the students from all three cities met for the first time in person in Columbus and in March, the U.S. students will travel to Russia.
